Permission set licenses extend the functionality of a user license while a permission set
extend users’ functional access without changing their profiles.
How can you reset a password
individually reset a password by accessing user record in setup, reset multiple passwords from user page or the user can self reset.
why would a user need to be deactivated? How can user records be activated and deactivated and what does that impact?
no longer work for the company. hit deactivate. or activate to reactivate them on user information page.
how can you freeze users, unfreeze them, and why you would do that.
going to user profile and hitting freeze or unfreeze. You would want to do this in order to remove access as soon as possible while making arrangements to deactivate them in case they’re involved in a hierarchy or email alerts.
what does a delegation group do for an admin?
delegate certain administrative tasks to delegated admins inside a group.
How do you create a delegated admin group
setup: delegated group> New> add users>assign capabilities.
if your going to use the data loader to insert users what do you need?
required fields should be in the import folder, Proper picklist values should be used for: email encoding key, Locale, Language, Time Zone, and currency fields
What is a lookup dialog?
the little box with a magnifying glass usually next to a field in a record.
difference between data import wizard and data loader
import wizard is for simple imports of data it can load up to 50,000. data loader is for complex imports of data, it can load up to 5,000,000 records.
