Dry, medium (+) acidity, high alc, full-bodied, creamy & buttery texture, flavours mirror aromas; long persistent & complex finish with notes of hazelnut & almonds, cedar, pineapple & melon.
Other info:
100% Chardonnay, hand-harvested grapes, whole cluster pressed.
9 months in oak: French (2/3) and American (1/3)
Aged sur lie, with battonage (every 2 weeks).

Founded by Koerner and Joan Rombauer, who moved their 2 children, 2 horses and 5 dogs to Carneros in 1972
The winery was established in 1980.
