7-9 days of maceration

Aged for 7 months in a combination of stainless steel and cement vats

Medium purple in colour, clear appearance

pronounced in Intensity

black fruit (bluberries, blackberries, black cherry), red fruit (red plum, red cherry), floral (lavender), other (bubble bum, kirsch, banana), oak (toast & vanilla); well define aromas, with a ripe fruit character.

Dry, med (+) in acidity, med (+) tannins (chalky, fine grained), med alc, med body, med(+) intensity on the palate, flavours mirror the nose, with a more accentuded fresh cherry / kirsch note. long finish finish, with bright cherry & toast / vanilla notes at the end.

Also produces a Pouilly-Fuisse.

5th and 6th generation of winemakers working together.

Perrachon family first acquired a domaine in Julienas in 1877.

100% from 80yo vines

Very low yields (35 hL/ha)

Semi-carbonic maceration for 12 days.

12 months in oak (small proportion new) + 3 months in large oak vats.
