What drug is first line for the pharmacological management of noctural enuresis?
A
Desmopressin (synthetic ADH)
More effective than an enuresis alarm short-term but a higher relapse rate and is more expensive
Indicated if alarm therapy has failed or is not suitable or if rapid onset/short-term improvement is a priority of treatment
