The tennement blocks by Stalin and Khrushchev
Far difference to the rows of cheaply built houses that came before them
And between the two they were so different inequality that Khrushchev’s Tennement blocks became known as khrushchyovka
These kind of flats were so good compared to what had come before it and gave a reasonable standard of life to the workers that people didn’t want to go to political meetings because they were just so comfortable
furthermore under him there was a large extent of consumer goods such as fridges making the quality of life far better than anything else in the period
