- Admin IM into larger muscles
- Compare CBC during therapy (b/c of thrombocytopenia)

- Avoid driving motor vehicle or performing other dangerous activities
- Avoid alcohol or other CNS depressants
- Children or geriatrics are more sensitive to side effects
