Where would the median nerve be compressed? What are the symptoms? Where is the tinel’s sign?
Carpal tunnel; Grip weakness, sensory changes in first 4 digits. Tinel’s sign in carpal tunnel
Where would the AIN be compressed? Symptoms? Tinel’s sign?
Compressed by the pronator teres and FD muscles; Inability to pinch 1 and 2 together. Tinel’s sign over pronator teres.
Describe Ulnar compression at the elbow. Symptoms? Tinel’s sign?
Compression and Tine’ls at cubital tunnel, medial to olecranon; Dysesthesias in ulnar forearm, 4 and 5. Weakness in grip, interossei with claw-like hand posture.
Describe Ulnar compression at Guyon’s canal. Symptoms? Tinel’s sign?
Decreased sensation at 4 and 5. Weakness at hypothenar eminence with inability to spread fingers; Tinel’s sign at guyon’s canal.
Describe Radial nerve compression at the axilla. Symptoms?
Wrist extensor and tricep weakness. Decrease in sensation in dorsal wrist and hand; Crutch palsy
Describe PIN compression. Symptoms?
Compression by supinator (Arcade of Frohse). Causes pain below lateral epicondyle that increases with supination. Pain with middle finger test and weak grip.
Describe Radial nerve compression at the wrist. Symptoms? Tinel’s sign?
Pain, numbness and paresthesias over radial dorsal hand and thumb. Tinel’s sign at dorsal radial hand. Flexion, pronation and ulnar deviation causes pain.
