Relative clause
The part of a sentence which

In Japanese, a relative clause always comes directly in front of the noun which it explains.
What are the rules of relative clauses?
- A relative clause must end with PLAIN FORM just before the noun.
e. g きのうよんだ本…. - There is no は particle in a relative clause. The topic marker は is replaced by が.
