French and Indian War
Developed due to overlapping land claims between the french & British
- it was french & Indian allies vs Britain
- One of the main regions was the Ohio valley region, a region that was geographically valued because of its rich resources and abundance in fur and accessible trade routes. (OHIO RIVER)
The 7 year war/Great War of Empire
A war that was arose due to global conflicts. At first, it was the french and Indian war, a war that fought over land in a local region. Eventually this led to a global scale conflict between both countries and their respected allied as the war shifted from land to imperial dominance. Eventually British would emerge as the victor, changing the dynamics of imperial power and expanding British influence.

Provided labor forces that were needed for the laborious tasks like cultivating sugar and rice and tobacco
These crops would be shipped back to Europe as the colony became heavily reliant on exports.
