Sarah’s Law campaign
This campaign was for a change in the law to provide a legal right for parents or carers to formally ask the police if someone with access to a child has a record for child sexual offences.
Max and Kiera’s Law campaign
This campaign tried to pass a bill that meant adults in England were automatically listed as potential donors once deceased unless they chose to opt out of it.
Brexit campaign
This campaign sought a constitutional change in the membership of Britain in the European Union.
Lillian’s Law campaign
This campaign sought to introduce roadside drugs testing devices and random drug spot checks as well as give tougher sentences for those found guilty.
Clare’s Law campaign
This campaign was for a change in the law to provide a legal right for women to formally ask the police whether their partner has a history of violent crime or not
Abortion Rights campaign
This campaign sought for the right to seek an abortion across both parts of Ireland, which are strict Catholic nations and believe that the act is wrong.
Assisted Dying campaign
This campaign sought a change in the laws against allowing people to help loved ones, who are in pain or suffering, to commit suicide.
Bobby Turnbull’s Anti-gun campaign
This campaign sought to prevent anybody with some form
of custodial sentence from being able to purchase and
possess a firearm.
Double Jeopardy Law campaign
This campaign sought abolition of the law which states that suspects cannot be put on trial a second time for a crime they have been cleared of.

Referendum – a general vote by the electorate on a single political question which has been referred to them for a direct decision.
Evaluate
Evaluate – form an idea of the amount, number, or value of; assess.
Vigilante
Vigilante – a member of a self-appointed group of citizens who undertake law enforcement in their community without legal authority, typically because the legal agencies are thought to be inadequate.
Campaign
Campaign – work in an organized and active way towards a particular goal, typically a political or social one.
Legislation
Legislation – laws, considered collectively.
Policy
Policy – a course or principle of action adopted or proposed by an organization or individual.
