what acute car might an ekg tech have to provide
explanations of procedure, answering questions, taking vital signs, obtaining history

chronic conditions, complications, surgeries, past hospitalizations

non judgemental understanding of another persons feelings

certification requirements include
high school graduate, completion of a recognized training course, proof of hands-on clinical experience, examination, a certification fee paid
what is required to maintain certification
maintaining a BLS certification, continuing education, renewal of EKG tech cert (every 2 years)
why is the chain of command important
it helps employees know who will give them assignments and where to go with needs/concerns
what is a policy? what are procedures?
something established so the same course of action is taken every time a situation occurs. procedure describes the step by step way of doing something
what is the importance of following procedures and policies
doing so protects you from liability
