All members, whether sworn or civilian, working a 40-hour work week that receives a uniform
allowance, shall wear the appropriate uniform at a minimum of?

Who should be notified should any official uniform items be stolen or lost?
Immediate notification to the on-duty Shift commander, or appropriate supervisor, is required.

(Class A) Ceremonial Dress Uniform is to be worn at the discretion of the Fire Chief or his/her
designee at the following times:
funerals, ceremonies (examples would be promotions, swearing-in
or academy graduations), formal presentations, court appearances or similar activities.
The Class B uniform may be worn at the
following times:
official functions and retirement ceremonies.

(Class C) Modified Dress Uniform is to be worn at the following times:
building or preplanning
inspections, when conducting tours of fire facilities, when conducting business at City Hall,
attendance at classes outside the station, meetings with the media, public speaking engagements and
all public functions to include Arena and Stadium events.
Administrative Captains can wear fatigue shorts only if
they will be required to work in a hot
environment from more than 50% of the workday.
Nomex Jump Suit is to be worn by members of
Fire Investigations, H.A.L.O., or Special Operations
Unit during active incident or in training. This is also
authorized for staff positions and on-duty WDC/BC/ISO during on duty activities or in training.
For
members wearing bugles, the flared end of the bugles shall be placed __ __ from the collar point
and point directly at the point of the collar.
