the Family Hominidae (hominids) to allow their classification into Genus Homo and
then species sapiens

Genus (Homo): Endocranial capacity bigger than 500cc, orthognathic face,
bipedal adaptations of pelvis (general shape, shape and orientation of iliac
blades, ischial length) and femur (medial femoral condyle > lateral femoral
condyle; relatively long neck of femur), position of the foramen magnum,
absence of pre-canine diastema, parabolic dental arcade.

Species (Homo sapiens): as above plus presence of a chin and large
neonatal (newborn) brain size.
