What is transitional epithelium and where is it found?

Layered, non-absorptive, stretchable epithelium
Found in urinary passages (ureter, bladder, urethra)
When the lumen is full the epithelium stretches and distends and causes cells to flatten.
When lumen is empty, cells are balloon-like and cuboidal.
