TAG is hydrolyzed by LPL producing glycerol and fatty acids with subsequent
phosphorylation of ATP by Glycerol kinase to produce glycerophosphate
Glycerophosphate is then acted upon by Glycerophosphate oxidase yielding
dihydroxyacetone phosphate and H2O2
