What did this triangular trade route look like?
Rum went from Colonies to Africa, it was traded for Slaves or for gold. These were taken to the West Indies and traded for sugar, molasses, or money. This was returned to the North American Colonies again to make more rum.

The Colonists were required to pay high taxes on molasses acquired from other countries.
What was the Colonist response to the Molasses Act?
