Why was the first one called?
Tension between Colonies and Britain

Delegates from 12 of 13 Colonies (Georgia didn’t join because they desired Britain’s help with the Native Americans)
What was the goal of the first one?
Coming to a peaceful agreement. They affirmed loyalty and gave Britian charge of foreign affairs, but called for the repeal of the Unwaranted Intolerable Acts.
British Goods were Boycotted until this happened.
What was included in the Intolerable Acts?
Uncondidtional quartering of British Soldiers
Crazy High tax and Tariff
