Transpuration is the loss of water vapour from a plant.

Water moves through the plant from the root along the xylem vessels in the stem

What do the minerals do
Creates turgor pressure inside cells to keep the plant upright
Does light increase transpiration
Yes, when there isno light, there is no transpiration
Does temperature increase transpiration
Yes, because the water evaporates more
Does humidity increase transpiration
No, it decreases it because there is more vapour in the air which means the vapour cannot escape the stomata
Does wind speed increase transpiration
Yes because it blows the water away
