-12 Lead EKG
-Large Bore IV (2X) or IO
-Fluids
-Calcium & Glucagon
-Epi
-Rapid Transport

-Large Bore IV (2X) or IO
-Fluids
-Calcium & Glucagon
-Epi
-Dextrose (if hypoglycemic from BB)
-Versed (if prolonged seizures occur)
-Rapid Transport

Stage 4

A

(4 to 14 days [or longer])

-Recovery slowly begins or liver failure progresses and the patient dies

The antidote for acetaminophen toxicity is acetylcysteine (Acetadote); ideally, it should be given within 8 hours following ingestion
