4
Q

How are the dispatch runway landing lengths calculated?

A

ALD * 1.67 (60% rule).

Add 15% of the calculated value for:

  1. Wet Runway
  2. Low Visibility

NOT TWICE, NUMBERS DON’T STACK

16
Q

What is VT?

A

FLAPs up speed

17
Q

What is the OEI Horizontal Limit?

A

+/- 5 degrees

18
Q

What does PMTOW stand for?

A

Planned Maximum Takeoff Weight

19
Q

What does RLNG mean in the TLR?

A

Rolling

20
Q

When do gusts become a factor for maximum crosswind component?

A

Contaminated Runways

21
Q

What is PMRLW

A

Planned Maximum Allowable Runway Landing Weight

22
Q

Where do the “RLD-DRY” numbers on the TLR come from?

A

ALD x 1.67. (60 percent rule). These numbers are what is required to get you legally off the ground.

23
Q

Where do the 6, 5, 4, 3… etc. numbers come from on the TLR?

A

OLD numbers with an additional 15%. So OLD * 1.15… the 1, 2, 3, 4 are runway condition codes.

24
Q

PMRLW

A

Planed Maximum Allowable Runway Landing Weight

25
Q

PLDW

A

Planned Landing Weight

26
Q

What are the limit codes in the landing data section of the TLR?

A
C - Climb
B - Brakes
T - Tires
F - Field
A - Maximum
27
Q

What is landing distance data based on?

A

Crossing the beginning of the available landing distance at 50’ AT Vref

28
Q

What will make RLD-Dry Distance increase?

A

15% for not dry
15% for Low Visibility Landing (4,000)

Not more than once, it does not stack

DRY will change to WET

29
Q

When should the Cost Index - Econ Speeds be used in flight?

A

Only if ACARS cost indexing is not available?
