To-do Lists/Priorities Lists

It lists the tasks and activities that need to be completed and then attaches a priority to each one. These lists help to improve both productivity and quality of work.
Gantt Charts
One effective Time and Task Management strategy is a Gantt Chart. A gantt chart is a diagram of tasks including the order they need must be done in and the length of time tasks should take. It is a useful tool for planning and scheduling large projects and for monitoring the progress of a project.
Diaries and E-Diaries
One effective Time and Task Management strategy are Diaries and E-Diaries. Diaries and electronic diaries will allow appointments, events and deadlines to be recorded in a calender. They allow these things to be scheduled and noted down with any additional details to ensure that important tasks, activities and meetings are not missed.
Delegation
One effective Time and Task Management strategy is Delegation. Delegation is where responsibility and/or authority is given to another person to carry out certain activities/tasks. Delegation saves time and leaves the manager free to get on with more important management tasks.
Reducing Time Stealers
One effective Time and Task Management strategy is Reducing Time Stealers. Time stealers are activities that make it more difficult to manage time and tasks effectively in the workplace. Reducing these time stealers contribute to making sure the individual is focused on the work they need to get done, and not on the time stealer.
