An ark is the most important part of a synagogue. It is where the Torah scrolls is kept.

Sabbath and The Synagogue
Sabbath is the busiest time for the synagogue. Aka the Jewish day of rest this is when the services are held. Also known as Shabbat and can be performed at home

Reform Jews

Orthodox Jews

This is known as "the standing Prayer" and is the Core of Jewish worship. the three main prayers are: Praising God, Asking God for something, Thanking God.

Having a conversation with God. This could happen anywhere but you can pray collectively.
Orthodox prayer in Hebrew because it the Holiest language ,however reform would speak both English and Hebrew.
Jews perform prays three times a day formally.
Why are synagogue’s important
Place of worship and celebrations, Prayer house, School place of study Temple of Jerusalem equivalent, Community town hall AND social welfare.
