What does the organization of cells mean?
A high degree of order within an organism’s internal and external parts and it’s interaction with the outside world
What is a Cell?
The smallest unit that can perform life’s process
What does Unicellular mean?
An organism made up of one cell
What does Multicellular mean?
An organism made up of many cells
What is the Organ Systems?
Groups of cells that carry out certain tasks
What are Organs?
Groups of cells that do different jobs within an Organ System
What are Tissues?
Groups of cells that have similar abilities that allow the organ to function
What are the qualifications for a cell?
Must be covered by a membrane, contain all genetic information, contain genetic info necessary to replicate, and be able to carry out all cell functions
What are the Organelles?
Tiny structures that carry out functions necessary for the cell to stay alive
What are Biological Molecules (Found in Organelles)
The chemical compounds that provide physical structure and that bring about energy
What is stimulus?
A physical or chemical change in the internal or external enviroment
