What are the three principles of the Operations Process?
- Commander drives the Ops Process
- Build and maintain situational understanding.
- Apply critical and creative thinking.
Define Combat Power
The total means of destructive, constructive, and information capabilities that a military unit or formation can apply at a given time.
What does CP consist of?
The 6 WFF plus Leadership and Information.
Describe C2 as a WFF
Synchronize and Converge elements of combat power.
Describe M&M as a WFF
Move and employ forces to gain a relative advantage.
Describe Fires as a WFF
Create and converge fires effects to enable operations.
Describe Sustainment as a WFF
Provide support/services to ensure freedom of action, operational reach, and prolong endurance.
Describe Protection as a WFF
Preserve the force so the CDR can apply maximum combat power and accomplish the mission.
