DNA replication in preparation for cell division and transcription.

A
Lamins.

What proteins interact with the nuclear envelope?
A
Small water soluble molecules, RNA, ribosomes and histones drift between the nuclear envelope.
As well as Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum (SER) and Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum (RER).
