What are the 3 types of muscle?
A
Cardiac muscle - Cells contract and relax to pump blood around our bodies.
Smooth muscle - Cells make up thin sheets of muscle, such as the stomach lining.
Skeletal muscle - Are joined to bones. Its cells contract to make bones move and joints bend.

What is the agonist muscle?
A
The agonist muscle in an antagonistic pair contracts. The muscle becomes fatter and shorter.

A
The antagonist muscle relaxes. It becomes thinner and longer.
