While H7 was on progress he received news that viscount Lovell and Sir Humphrey Stafford had raised a rebellion in the West Midlands which coincided was rebellion in the Welsh marches

Bedford dealt with the marches while Henry summoned support from Nobles
he received support and dispatched 3000 men

Lovell marched to the city of York hoping to gain support for Edward, Earl of Warwicks claim to the throne
