What is the problem of evil for christians?
this is an argment against the existence of an omnivbenevolent, omniscient,omnupotent God who allowed suffering in our world
Why does a good God allow pain and suffering?
how does the incarnation help Catholics?
It is very important because it helps them to respond to the problem of evil.
Incarnation and suffering give christians a way of being able to continue to believe in the goodness of God even in the face of human suffering.
Why is it important to christians?
Because it means that God as Jesus can identify with humans.
Incarnation is a demonstration os God’s immense love for human beings and they see a God who loves them so much that he was willing to take on human form and sacrifice hos human life for them
He undserstands what it is like to be fully human.
How is Jesus a comfort to other people
Because Christians believe that Jesus is God’s presence with his people.
Jesus is with us in our suffering becayse he experienced suffering and di not run from it but bore it out of love.
Christians may not understand why God allows suffering to happen but they should trust him.
Jesus as an example
Jesus spent his life working agaisnt suffering like curing the sick. Cahtolics should do what they can to help the common good
