What do christians believe about Jesus as moral authority?
He is the ultimate source of moral authority and role model as they believe that he is the Son of God.
How is Jesus the authority of God?
Because he is part of the trinity and can communicate God’s teachings to humans
Jesus shares many teachigns that help people to live a good life.
What should people try to do?
Develop a good nature as this will in turn lead to good actions.

How can this change a catholics life?
Catholics will pray the lords prayer as this was shared during the sermon on the mount to show forgiveness to others as Jesus commanded
Catholics will try to follow the teachings of Jesus in their everyday lives when making a moral decision.

Jesus gave the golden rule “treat others the way you wish to be treated”
Told his disciples to love “ a new commandment i give to you thar toy love on enother, even as i have loved you , that you also love one another”
Healing the sick - jesus cleansing a leper and made the outcast + sinner feel welcome
Jesus showed forgiveness to those who crucifies him

Teachings on how people should live their lives
Those who are closest to God are often those that the world does not recognise or value

How is Jesus a source of moral authority
He came to fulfil God’s law.
He says that the requirements of being a follower goes deeper and futher than the Law of Moses (“fulfilment of law”

being a follower of his is more demanding than the Torah which listeners have been living by.
