A

managers must create and communicate a clear vision so all stakeholders understand what the business is working towards.

This vision will–> ensure employees understand what success looks like and how thyey can contribute to the change, ensure employees will accept the change and stay motiavted

A

change is very stressful for employees. managers must support employees to ensure they FEEL SAFE and are able to WORK PRODUCTIVELY.

THIS MEANS:
- listening to employees fears and feedback
-showing empathy for ppl’s feelings
-offering training and councelling
-resolving conflicts that arises to minatain positive relationships

A

ensuring that stakeholders are on borad with the change is critical.ppl are more likely to accept change when feel a sense of owner ship.

THIS MEANS:
- the tasks should be delegated so responsbility of change is shared with employees

-opportunities for other employees should be created to get the involved in change

A

during change, the leader will need to be responsbile when the change is working and when it is not–> reflects on the levels of integrity which should lead employees trusting management and vice versa.

what happens when there is lack of accountability

A

a lack of accountability will lead to mistrust and confusion as stakeholders struggles to understand what the truth is.

Accounatbility can also drive commitment and desire to solve problems so that the business will achieve the best results.

What would prepartion and planing look like?

A
  • developing an ‘action plan’ or a ‘business case’ describing the change+ tech strategies that will be implemented to deal with it.
  • the plan should outline what the change is, a well as timeline for implementing strategies

-Preparing the chnage would also acquire communication and carrying out plans will involve decision making.

-Inadequte preparation is common reason for a change not succeeding.
