christians believe in one God that is split up into three persons.
the ‘father’:
1) transcendent.
2) the creator.
3) sustainer of all.
the ‘son’:
1) both fully divine (God) and fully human.
2) immanent.
3) personal; understands suffering.
4) a model of ideal christian behaviour.
5) the saviour.
the ‘holy spirit’:
1) a source of strength, courage and wisdom.
2) the immanent part of God guiding the church today.
3) a presence of God in the world today.
