Secondary sources
Second hand evidence. It is written or made by someone who did not witness the event happening
Bias
Showing favouritism for the person or country being discussed
Propaganda
Information being published or produced to influence the readers in a positive way. It does not tell the full truth, only the positive aspects
Prejudice
An unfavourable opinion or feeling formed beforehand without knowledge, thought or reason

Dendrochronology
Also called tree ring dating. Used to date wooden objects
Radio carbon dating
This dates plant and animal remains. Also called carbon 14 dating
Stratigraphy
Dating by layers. The deeper it is underground, the older it is. However this method can be unreliable
Primary sources
Primary sources are written or made at the time an even took place

○Reconstructions of historical sites or buildings
