What’s the story of Cain and Abel?
They were the sons of Adam and Eve. Both give offerings to God but God Favored Abel. God told Abel to accept the situation but able killed his brother Cain
What should we learn about the Cain and Abel story
-We don’t know why God favored Ables offerings. We should know to accept things as they are. We cannot always understand the ways of God.
-Cain thought he would lose God’s protection but God came to Cain’s aid and showed him that he was still protected.

What is the story of the tower of babel?
All the people of earth spoke the same language and we’re in the same area. This is against God’s plan because he wanted humans to spread across the land. They built a huge tower to stay in one place as a way to resist God’s plan. The tower looked like a ziggurat.
What is a ziggurat?
It’s a series of smaller and smaller brick platforms one on top of the other. This was a symbol of humans resistance to God’s will. 
How did God stop the people from building the tower of babel?
He confused her language so they could not understand each other. And the unity of the human race was lost they begin to break up into rival groups.
Throughout history what has caused misunderstanding between people?
Humans failure to respect the differences and
to appreciate the dignity that all people possess.
