Memorial- Jesus told his apostles to this in memory of me.
Meal- we are nourished by the body’s and blood of Christ. (Holy communion)
Sacrifice-Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, his resurrection and his ascension into heaven.

How can we live as Jesus did?
Through the sacrament of the Eucharist we receive nourishment so we can respond to the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

They are the different ways that people serve the church in worship.

The deacon proclaim the gospel and in the preaching. He assists at the altar and leads the assembly in certain prayers.
What are Sacristans Responsible for?
They are responsible for all of the sacred vessels and objects that are used during the celebration.
What does Proclaim mean?
It is to announce something loudly, clearly, and from the heart.

We respond “Thanks be to God”

We respond “Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ”

What is the Eucharist Prayer?
It is truly the most important prayer of the church

It is when the priest prays that the gifts of the bread and wine will be changed into the body and blood of Christ

We receive the gift of Jesus Christ himself and are joined more deeply to him
