where do the caries usually develope in a class 3?
just gingival to the contact area
can you have lingual or labial access?
yes, but always try to stay lingual.
what are the general dimensions of the prep?
3mm incisocervically
- 5mm deep
- 5mm mesiodistally
should we bevel class 3’s?
yes, use a 45 deg. angle
at lecom how wide should your bevel be?
.5 mm
where should your incical cavosurface be?
just gingival to the contact

when in full occlusion, is it ok to have the beveled surface incontact with the opposite arch?
no. we dont want the bevel to occlude with anything.
should you use a wedge with the mylar strips?
yes, make sure you have it nice and tight.
