40% of the Brazilian population are involved in tourism and it generates 60 billion per year

Tourism is the most developed tertiary activity in Brazil accounting for 71% of all economic activity, compared to underdeveloped transport system

Hot,sunny climate attracts millions of visitors each year

As the seasons do not change drastically throughout the year means Brazil is a all year round tourist destination

Other natural attractions include the Amazon rainforest, the idyllic beaches eg. Bahia coastline and Brazilian wetlands which attract thousands of birdwatchers

Tourism is increasing due to improved air travel but transport remains under developed and hinders tourism industry

Crime is somthing in Brazil that hinders industry

Brazil is seen as dangerous with illegal drugs businesses and kidnappings

Plano Aquarela 2020 plans to double foreign visitors in next 10 years

The 2014 world cup and 2016 Olympics attracted many visitors
