유럽 여행은 저에게 버킷리스트 중 하나였어요.

제가 회사생활을 20대 초반에 일찍 시작했기 때문에 장기 여행을 해본 경험이 없었어요.

그런데 제가 하고 싶은 일이 생겨서 회사를 그만뒀어요.

사실 한국에서 유럽으로 출발할 때는 불안하고 걱정을 많이 했어요.

In fact, when I departed from Korea to Europe, I was anxious and worried a lot.

실제로 제가 유럽에 있었을 때 니스와 뮌헨에서 테러 사건이 발생했고, 영국에서는 브렉시트 투표가 있었고, 페루자에서는 지진도 있었어요.

While I was in Europe, terrorist incidents happened in Nice and Munich, there was the Brexit vote in the UK, and there was an earthquake in Perugia.

그런데 저는 관광객이었기 때문에 브렉시트와 상관이 없었어요.

그리고 대부분 사건 사고들은 한국 친구들이나 가족들에게 연락이 와서 알게 됐어요.

생각보다 위험하지 않았지만, 테러 지역은 조금 피하시는 것이 좋겠어요.

돈 걱정하면 제대로 못 즐길 것 같아서 쓸 땐 쓰고 아낄 때는 아꼈어요.

I thought that I wouldn’t fully enjoy it if I worried about money, so I spent when I wanted to spend and saved when I wanted to save.

그래도 교통비를 아끼려고 많이 걸어다녔어요ㅎㅎ..
