What Causes Syphilis?
A
Bacterium Treponema Pallidum.

How is it spread?
A
During unprotected sex and mother to baby, which can give it respiratory issues and death.

Symptoms?
A
First stage- painless sores around sex organs, mouth or anus.
The second stage – Skin rash appears all over the body, lymph glands become swollen.
The third stage – if not treated, progresses to the third stage. May take 10 years or more to
reach the final stage. May suffer from heart failure, paralysis, blindness and may die eventually.

How can it be treated?
A
with antibiotics like penicillin.

How can it be prevented?
A
protected sex, and abstinence
