Natural/Basic Sentence
A sentence with a subject prior to predicate. Dont say simple when you hear natural as they are two different thigns.

We travelled to London
Loose/Cumulative Sentence
A sentence which expresses the subject and predicate near the beginning and adds modifying elements at end. Sentence is “front loaded” so it could end early and still function properly.
Loose/Cumulative Example
Jane woke at dawn on the banks of the thames, that most historic of rivers, welling with tourism and trade, pulsing with the very life blood of london.
Periodic Sentence
A sentence which expresses the subject and predicate after all modifying elements. Sentence is back loaded and cannot end early without becoming a fragment.
Periodic example
That morning after 14 hours in transit 3 turbulent flights 5 time zone changes and suffering the loss of 2 suitcases he reached london.
Interrupted Sentence
A sentence with dependent elements set off by dashes parenthese or commas. Drawws attention to materials inside examples, appositives, explanations, or qualification
Interrupted Example
We reached copenhagen –though not our intended destination – that morning
