What is Ganser Syndrome?
Ganser syndrome is diagnosed in patients that provide approximated answers to questioning, termed paralogia, in the setting of further clouded consciousness and perhaps even hallucinations or dissociative concerns. The hallmark sign in Ganser syndrome presents when patients answer questions in a way that is understandable, but just skirts past the appropriate answer.
