Fluctuating conscious level
Physical and intellectual deficit

Raised ICP signs
Seizures (focal)
Localising symptoms occur a long time after injury
DDx?
Stroke
Dementia
Space occupying lesions
Investigations?
CT/MRI head
What does the CT/MRI head show?
Crescent shaped clot
Unilateral
Midline shift
Surgical treatment
Clot evacuation
- Burr hole
- Craniostomy (2nd line)
Other treatment?
Investigate what caused the fall if that’s the aetiology
- Epileptic control
- Alcoholism
