Wtf is Paroxysmal Hemicrania?
A
Extreme orbital/temporal pain
Basically a big differential of migraine and clusters and short acting unilateral neuralgiform headache with conjunctival and lacrimal ejection (SUNCT)

What are the symptoms of paroxysmal hemicrania?
A
Unilateral severe headache
Rapid onset
Ipsilateral autonomic symptoms
- Sweating
- Tearing
- Nose running
Migrainous symptoms
- Photophobia
- Phonophobia

How long does Paroxysmal hemicrania last?
A
THIS IS THE DDx FOR ALL THE NEURALGIFORM HEADACHES
Longest = cluster headache (15-300 mins)
Longer = trigeminal neuralgia (also more around the mandible than opthalmic area)
Middle = paroxysmal hemicrania (2-30 mins)
Shortest = SUNCT (10 - 240 seconds)
