Heavy Transmammary infection
- Death
Infection induces strong immunity
Skin penetration by infective L3 causes an erythematous reaction and urticaria
Dehydration
Neonatal pigs may die before eggs excreted with feces
Immunity in older animals - not clinically affected

Fecal exam
How do you treat and prevent?
Anthelmintics: MCLs
Good Hygiene
Young animals
Dependent on host
What is the common name?
