Describe the Pathogenesis

A

H. gallinarum - Chickens/Turkeys
- Most common nematode
- Non-pathogenic, not an issue for chickens, but an issue for
Turkeys because it leaves behind Histamonas
- Non-pathogenic but transmits Histamonas meleagridis
- H. meleagridis is the cause of “blackhead” in Turkeys
