Describe the clinical signs
Inappetance - lower appetite
Loss of condition
Anemia
Diarrhea - uncommon
How do you diagnose?
Eggs in fecal flotation - can’t distinguish from Oesophagostomum spp.
How do you treat and prevent?
Outdoor pigs affected usually
“Poor Sow Syndrome” - this nematode or modular worm
Anthelmintics effective against hypobiotic larvae
Pasture management/timing of treatments

Stomach worm
