A
- Stop the train.
- Stop the trains on adjacent lines.
- Stop the train proceeding on the same line.
- Tell the signaller who controls the area from approach.
- If necessary, carry out signalling regulation 4 (obstruction danger).
- Arrange for the train to be examined.

If it is not possible for a train to be dealt with after it has been examined but can proceed safely to a point, what must you do with the train? (2)

- Agree the arrangements with the signaller who controls the area ahead.
- Signal the train in the normal way
