  1. Immediately protect each obstructed line or arrange for this to be done.
  2. Any other action to prevent trains approaching the accident as shown in appropriate train signal regulations.
  3. Make an emergency broadcast to trains in the area concerned or arrange for this to be done.
  4. If possible, tell the person involved that you have provided protection.
  5. Arrange for emergency services to be called if needed.
