1. Make sure the signal concerned is not showing a green aspect, or the semaphore distant signal is not showing clear.
2. Instruct the driver of the first train to tell you what AWS indication they received.

If the TSS TPWS equipment has failed and is causing an automatic brake application when the signal is showing proceed, what must you do before you allow a train to pass over the failed TWS equipment? (2)
