Palpate the lymph nodes
A
Exact location Size and shape Presence or absence of tenderness Freely moveable, adherent to deeper structures, or matted together. Presence of surrounding inflammation Texture (hard, soft, firm)

A
Should be midline

A
Enlargement, symmetry, consistency and presence of nodules
