- At this point you may Reduce Speed towards
Green Dot (with ATC permission)
- When Cleared to Descend, Select DES with
Managed Speed active.

been Selected ON.

is Slow (25 sec from Full Extension)
* The ECAM Memo will display SPD BRAKES in Amber
until Retraction is Complete
- To avoid Overshooting the Altitude, due to Speedbrake
Retraction in ALT* mode, Retract the Speedbrakes at
Least 2000 Ft Before the Selected Altitude
- Generally Never use Speed Brakes when Flaps > 1
* Prefer having the Gear Down.
